We turned to Be-Reshit 1:1. \u201cIn the beginning God created the heavens and the earth,\u201d and now we will show how this phrase looks in six different languages. Three of them are Glinnar, the other three are sources for the corresponding spellings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. "Ar ealbhach-shar a iftha Ierth\u00edal ar ail\u00e8n edh ar fh\u00e1h\u00e0dh<\/em>"- classic clay.
2. "I dt\u00fas b\u00e1ire chruthaigh Dia neamh agus talamh<\/em>' is modern Loreland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most significant difference is the pronunciation th<\/strong>, dh<\/strong>, sh <\/strong>and fh <\/strong>in these two spellings. In Lorland it is \/h\/, \/\u0263\/, \/h\/ and zero sound (yes, not a very rich set), and in Glynarya it is \/\u03b8\/, \/\u00f0\/, \/\u0283\/ and \/\u028d\/. The first two sounded the same in Middle Lorland, and the last two are purely Glynarian adaptations. Well, the vowels are different. But in general, the continuity, I think, is visible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. "C\u00fb'r eilvacho iwtha Rhaethws ar oilenwy ad ar fothadwy<\/em>\u201d- Llaehsky (alas, already dead).
4. "Yn y dechreuad creodd Duw y nefoedd a'r ddaear<\/em>"- Botian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here the differences are much smaller. Main three:
- to convey \/\u00f0\/, Llaeh orthography uses a digraph dh<\/strong>, and Botian - dd<\/strong>;
- to convey \/v\/ and \/f\/, Llaeh orthography uses letters v<\/strong> and f<\/strong>, while the Botian uses f<\/strong> and ff <\/strong>respectively.
Otherwise, everything is more or less the same, except for some minimal differences in vowels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. "Cu'r oalvac'heu an i\u00f1fsha Irshil ar eilenoa ad ar feushadoa<\/em>"- North Glinnarsky.
6. "Er penn-kenta\u00f1 e krouas Doue an ne\u00f1vo\u00f9 hag an douar<\/em>"- duat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here, too, everything is about the same. Differences:
\u2013 duat uses k<\/strong> to transfer \/k\/, and North Glinnar - c<\/strong>;
\u2014 North Glinnar has a digraph g'h<\/strong> to convey \/\u0263\/, while the duat uses c'h<\/strong> to transmit \/x\/ and \/\u0263\/ at the same time;
\u2014 North Glinnar has a digraph sh<\/strong>, whose pronunciation varies from [s\u0320<\/a>] to [\u0267]. Duat has a digraph zh<\/strong> with both similar and slightly different functions.
And the vowels, suddenly, do not differ at all. Unless, of course, I confuse anything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
