Transliteration:

n (naudz) ez nidingz nattwakandi
ok bazfott barn
ok badja a matazlausi

Nauðr er níðingr náttvakandi
ok bęrfœtt barn
ok bęðja and matarleysi

Translation:

Need is the villain awake in the night
and a barefoot child
and a wife who is short of food.
